Abbey Farm

COVID 19 - Information

We are now fully open for all units, all toilets and showers are also open.

Welsh law dictates pitches/ accommodation units can only be let to members of the same household.

To comply with track and trace we now require the names and details of each person staying in the unit. We must keep this information for 21 days.

The bistro is currently open
Monday-Saturday 9am to 9pm
Sunday-9am to 8pm

Currently closed but our ice cream freezer is available for ice creams and ice.

On arrival to Abbey Farm please come to the check in window (first building on left as you arrive)
If somebody is already at the window being served please wait in your car until the receptionist is free to check you in.

We have enhanced our cleaning regimes specifically the touch points of the facilities that are open. Hand sanitiser is available at all entrances and shared facilities, but we do ask that you bring soap, hand sanitiser, toilet roll and disinfectant to use in your unit -just to be on the safe side.

Our COVID19 Risk Assessment has identified the need to brief you. Please see below:

  1. Please do not return to the park if you, or any of your household have symptoms of COVID19. According to the NHS website, the main symptoms are:
    • a high temperature,
    • a new, continuous cough,
    • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.
  2. Do not return if you have been instructed to self isolate. Abbey Farm is not a safe place to self-isolate, you need to be near to your local medical services.
  3. Do not visit other peoples caravans / lodges. Please stay away from caravans / lodges that are for sale. In order to ensure our sales stock is COVID safe, we have had to implement a “viewing by appoint only” system to ensure that all touch points are cleaned after each viewing. If you would like to look at a caravan for sale please make an appointment and we will be happy to show you.
  4. In Wales, Social Distancing remains at 2m. In Wales the law states that 2 households can meet up and this must be outdoors. This will change over time, we will keep you informed. Stay Alert remains good advice.
  5. Please do not have visitors to your pitch/unit.
  6. Refuse: Please deposit rubbish in communal bins. Please knot the tops of all bin bags. No open bin bags please. Use the sanitiser provided.
  7. Chemical Disposal and Water: These are the only shared facilities allowed open on the park. Please adhere to all signage around these areas, follow instructions and use the sanitiser provided. Disposable gloves are also advised when emptying your chemical waste, please bring you own.
  8. If you feel unwell, leave the park and inform the office by telephone on 01978 861297 or email
  9. Park buildings: The office and laundry, are closed. If you need assistance, please call the office 01978 861297 or email, or come to the check in window.
  10. Staff: Please remain 2m from staff, do not ask them to carry out work for you. Please telephone the office if you need assistance.
  11. Children: We know it is hard, but please remember that everyone needs to exercise social distancing.

Please consider the above to be an extension of the park rules until such time as the COVID Crisis has passed.

Track & Trace

To ensure our parks are COVID-19 secure, we are required to comply with guidance by working with the Track and Trace system. For this, we need to know who is on our park at any point in time, and only keep that information for 21 days. For all holiday caravan owners, we are required to know when you are staying and who is in your party. We need names, dates and contact details. This will include any day visitors.

Please work with us to achieve this objective, by completing the details form below, prior to your arrival.
